We're looking for a backend-leaning fullstack dev. You will be one of the first engineers outside of the founding team. Here is a bit more about us: We're a seed stage AI startup backed by top tier investors. We're on a mission to ensure every patient gets covered for the care they need and every doctor gets paid for the work they do.
We’re building deep, vertically integrated technology systems to solve fundamental problems in US healthcare - the biggest market in the world ($5T). We use AWS, K8s, React, and Rust but there is no requirement to have prior experience with them specifically. We'll teach you!
We are a founding team made up of ex-YC, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, and Harvard Business School with previous successful exits.
You’ll own entire product areas and be expected to play a true full-stack role, with the ability to go from customer need to end-state product. You’ll work directly with the CTO at the edge of what's possible with LLMs and agentic systems applied to a hard domain. You'll contribute to technical strategy, make real architectural decisions, and write vast amounts of production code with AI first developer workflows. Most importantly, the technology you build will have real impact on real people - clinics staying open, clinicians getting paid, patients getting care.
This is an opportunity to work in a fast paced, high ownership environment while solving real problems in healthcare.
We're happy to share more details on the role in person/on zoom. Please fill out this form if interested!

We run a GPU cloud on systems software we built from scratch in C++. We're hiring for our systems engineering team; designing the distributed system behind what is essentially a hypervisor for GPUs.
You'd report to Brian, our CTO (ex-Citadel Securities quant dev). Team is from Citadel Securities, Aquatic, Old Mission and AWS. Series A, $17.5M+ from Matrix and YC.
Comp: $250–325K base, 0.1–0.3% equity, highly competitive profit-sharing bonus pool. Currently there are $3.3M in bonuses entering this pool tied to gross-profit milestones.

Helmsted is the AI-native operating system for wealth advisors of complex households: planning, tax and estate analysis, meetings and the client portal, run by agents that do the work. Small team, live with pilot firms, shipping daily.
You'd build the agents and the intelligence behind them with our CTO: evals and systems that improve from their own usage, long-term memory, retrieval over millions of documents, model routing and cost, and secure, permissioned access to client data. Fintech experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Remote in the US today, with eventual relocation as the team centralizes. Paid sick leave; health insurance and 401(k) under discussion. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis.
To apply, email careers@helmsted.ai with a resume and short answers to the questions in the full JD: https://helmsted.ai/careers/helmsted-founding-ai-engineer.pd...
Mesmer builds software factories for engineering teams. Keeping a team at the state of the art with agents is a full-time job, so we do it for our customers: we're always finding the biggest bottleneck in how their team ships and fixing it in their factory.
As a founding engineer you'd do both halves. You'd work in customers' factories, at the frontier of how software gets built with agents, and you'd build the product that makes that work repeatable. We're seven people, repeat founders and CTOs, in one office in Berlin.
We're looking for senior engineers who use coding agents every day and have strong opinions about how the work around them should change.
About two weeks from first call to offer, no live coding or take-home. Email hiring@mesmer.co with a short intro and something you've built.
Voluntas is a trading firm written 100% in Rust. We run systematic strategies, currently specializing in prediction markets, looking to expand our systems more broadly.
We're looking for someone passionate about data collection, clean abstractions, and processing trillions of rows of data. We are about the quality of the code we write, and we prioritize time for our engineers to properly build their systems, instead of pressuring them to churn out AI generated code.
If you're interested, send an email to jobs@voluntas.io with a little bit about yourself. We'll respond with a link to our engineering challenge (in Rust).
Sidekick builds AI security software for enterprises. Our sensors observe AI behavior and use in situ. From those observations, our reasoning pipeline produces an application inventory and a risk picture, allowing us to provide real-time intervention and coaching right when it matters.
Compensation: base salary scaled to experience, meaningful early-stage equity, and 100% covered health insurance for you and your immediate family.
We are a highly senior team. Most of us have been founders or on early founding teams, so we operate with high ownership. The PM team is small, and everyone on it has a real, current AI-assisted practice: we design, prototype, and build with AI tools every day.
The role: You'll spend your time with customers and in the product. You'll run discovery with CISOs and IT teams, guide pilots, and turn what you learn into clear direction for engineering. You'll also build: design and prototype with AI tools, make your own tools for research, analysis, and reporting, and open PRs against the product when that's the fastest way to get something done. On a small team, expect to take on whatever the company needs.
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years building B2B software, at least 5 of them as a PM
- Customer discovery and pilots you ran yourself, ideally with enterprise IT or security teams
- Things you built yourself that you can walk us through: prototypes, internal tools, or merged PRs
- Crisp, clear communication, written and spoken, with customers, engineers, and executives
- Security experience is a plus
To apply: Send an email to hiring@sidekicklabs.com with "Senior Technical Product Manager" in the subject. Include a PDF of your resume, links to your LinkedIn and any GitHub or personal site, and a short description of something you built yourself (a prototype, a tool, a PR): what it does and why you built it. Include a link if you can share one.

Most non-tech businesses know exactly which workflows they want AI agents to handle, but have no one to build, connect and run them. Pond delivers custom AI agents to these businesses through a network of 7k AI builders, with Pond as the platform and security layer over MCP.
We're backed by Tier-1 VCs and a co-inventor of GPT, and we're looking for a hands-on technical leader to own the platform end to end.
You'd be a great fit if you:
- Build full-stack and ship AI agents in production (TypeScript/Python, LLMs, tool use)
- Have worked on payments, agent coordination/MCP, or platform/marketplace products
- Have early-stage startup experience (founder, founding or early engineer) and like to grind
Email dylan@joinpond.ai with something you've built.
I'm Alex, founder and CEO of River. I also wrote the first line of code and still ship PRs.

Hi HN, I'm Adriaan. Simple Analytics exists thanks to HN: it started with my Show HN in 2018 [1]. Today we're a self-funded, profitable team of four building privacy-first analytics.
Privacy is why we run our own bare-metal servers instead of the cloud. We're preparing for a LOT more traffic, and you'll own the infrastructure and its reliability. We have good documentation. First project: leading the infra side of our Elasticsearch to ClickHouse migration, with Alex, our developer.
Stack: Ansible, OpenTofu, Docker Compose, Grafana, GitHub Actions, TypeScript. Clear async communication matters more than knowing every tool.

Juro is an AI contract automation platform used by in-house legal and business teams. Our Agentic team builds Operator, the agent that works across contracts inside Juro: it answers questions and takes action on legal data. You'd build the tools that let it act across the product, own parts of the agent harness (planning, tool use, context) and put evals around what you ship, together with our QA team.
Stack: TypeScript/Node.js, MongoDB, pgvector, AWS Bedrock, LiteLLM, Mastra, some React. Engineers pick their own AI tooling (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor...) and we pay for the usage.
We're looking for programmers first who now build with LLMs, and who have shipped something people use. Years of ML matter less to us than what you've built. We apply models, we don't train them.
Process: 30-min intro call, interview with the hiring manager, a build review where you walk us through something you've built, and a short chat with our CTO. We reply to every applicant.
You'll work from the UK. For exceptional candidates we can sponsor a UK Skilled Worker visa, whether you're relocating or already in the UK. If you need sponsorship, say so in your application.

Equall is an AI-native platform for corporate legal work in private markets. We extract and reconcile legal information from source documents (charters, SPAs, board consents) and produce auditable outputs: cap table tie-outs, governance dashboards, personnel summaries. Law firms use us to do due diligence in hours instead of weeks. Working with leading ECVC firms now, expanding into PE and M&A.
The role: own the knowledge graph at the core of the platform. Design the public APIs, build the Prefect pipelines that turn documents into structured graph data, run it in production on Kubernetes.
Stack: Python, Prefect, Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes.
Need: production backend experience (Python, Go, Rust, or Zig), data pipelines at scale, strong views on API design, comfort on k8s.
Bonus: built a graph DB, designed workflow orchestration, integrated LLM workflows into backend infra, Kafka.

* we have a public handbook (posthog.com/handbook) if you want to learn how we work, pay and more in complete detail.
* we are growing through more autonomy and transparency not through process.
* we have a ton of scale and a bunch of super interesting technical problems to solve
* we're building 20 more products over the next couple of years, so you could end up building one of those
* public compensation calculator! see immediately what you'd get paid
* we're hiring: ai research engineer, technical customer success managers (americas & emea), finance manager, site reliability engineer, and more. https://posthog.com/careers
Mastra is the open-source TypeScript framework for building AI agents (agents, workflows, memory, evals, tracing). From the team behind Gatsby, YC-backed, https://github.com/mastra-ai/mastra
Why: Four months ago Mastra was a very popular open-source agent framework with very little monetization. Then we launched our platform, and now we're closing a couple of deals a week. Pipeline is growing faster than one person can work it, so this is our second dedicated sales hire. You start day 1 with a warm pipe: most leads are already using the open-source framework.
What you'd sell: Platform (Studio, Server, infra to run/debug/observe agents in production, hosted or self-hosted for regulated orgs), Agent Builder (agents without code), and Concierge (embedded Mastra engineers working alongside customer teams). Full-cycle, mid-market: Series A–C, often with regulatory or infra constraints, sales cycles of a few weeks, talking to eng leaders.
You have: Closed full-cycle deals in dev tools, OSS, infra, or AI. Enough technical depth to come across as a smart PM with engineers: understand their use cases and scope a solution. Founder or founder mentality. Comfort with a product that ships something new every week.
Apply: { https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/Mastra/d5fe8d36-843a-4f9b-9d65-779e... } We get back to everyone.
At Tandem Health we're building the AI-native operating system for clinics, so clinicians can focus on care rather than administration. We're building, launching and iterating quickly, and already support more than 10,000 care organisations across 14 European markets, including most of the NHS. We recently raised a $100M Series B to go further, faster.
It started with our AI medical scribe, which listens in to the patient-clinician encounter to generate medical records and saves clinicians 5-10 minutes per patient. Today our AI medical assistant supports clinicians before, during and after each visit, with medical coding and clinical decision support, three products certified as medical devices under EU MDR.
We're expanding our Stockholm team with exceptionally driven builders in a wide range of roles.

humans& is a human-centric frontier AI lab. Our view is that AI should help people work together, so it has to understand people and the relationships between them, not just tasks.
Last month we launched Boba (https://boba.app), an assistant you can text one-on-one or add to a group chat. It runs on Ampersand, our first model, trained with RL over millions of simulated days with thousands of simulated people. Boba keeps track of your goals for weeks or months, sets up reminders and calendar invites, uses email and searches the web. In a group chat it reads social context and decides when to speak up and when to stay quiet. Early users have sent it more than a million messages.
Looking for product engineers who have done exceptional work on how humans and computers interact. You’ll build the product side of this: new interaction patterns for an AI that lives in group chats, remembers people and acts for them.
The founding team comes from xAI, Google DeepMind, OpenAI, Stanford and MIT. Our investors include NVIDIA, GV and SV Angel.
Apply: https://humansand.ai/
We're founding an in-house AI unit and hiring its first two engineers. You'd work directly with the unit's head and shape how it's built from day one. Software work: LLMs, data, APIs and the systems around them.
Senior AI/ML Engineer: LLM assistants and agents over real company data, Arabic and Saudi-dialect language work, a proper evaluation practice, and open-weight models on our own hardware. The unit publishes research, with the opportunity to co-author.
Senior Backend Engineer: the services and integrations connecting AI to enterprise systems and operational data, on a modern serverless stack. Reliability, security and clean data are the job.
Package: competitive salary, housing and transport allowances, family medical insurance, annual flights.
Apply at https://zalvi.app, a short game-like screening assessment we built ourselves (English or Arabic). Shortlisted applicants move to the next stage.
We make robots that autonomously construct buildings, starting with bricklaying.
There's a lot of vapourware in robotics, but we're deploying robots across multiple concurrent sites today - and generating revenue. In the last couple of months, our robots have built affordable social housing, health care living units, canal walls in the historic city centre of Amsterdam, and a youth sports centre. Help us to build things that matter in the long run.
We're looking for experienced software engineers for many roles. You can help us solve problems like:
- Data sync and analytics queries across a fleet of robots (that can be offline for hours at a time)
- Modelling buildings in code and finding the right UI for operators to edit them
- Designing systems for robots to drive safely and fully autonomously around a building site
Check out the progress we've already made on Atrium, our operating system for robotics: https://www.monumental.co/atrium
We're rapidly scaling up operations - we're already hiring operators in the UK too - and we need experienced engineers who can build the systems that manage all of that complexity. If you think that 'full-stack' could reasonably mean debugging firmware, mixing buckets of mortar _and_ writing React components, we are looking for you. Robotics experience not required!

Lyra is building an AI-native platform to solve the problem of mission integration that exists today: a slow, expensive, and manual process of information extraction and design for satellite missions. You will work on a small, fast-paced team that interfaces directly with government agencies and industry experts to build the initial version of our platform.
We are looking for a generalist that is comfortable building full-stack products, using AI tooling, and building data analysis/extraction pipelines.
Package: Health insurance, generous equity, competitive salary

We are a funded and backed venture building the regulated base layer for tokenized commodities including the US-regulated trading venue, Mint and benchmarks, bridging institutional commodity markets and on-chain finance. Commodity markets trade tens of trillions a year on infrastructure designed for paper-based trading; we are what comes next. Launching Q1 2027.
Roles currently available:
VP of Engineering: owns the platform end to end, from on-chain contracts (Avalanche) to the trading engine, custody integrations and institutional-grade security and operations. A VP or SVP who still builds and ships, not one who just manages others; you will have a real say in the architecture before we finalize it and will work with leaders in tech and commodities. You must have done this before: delivered a trading venue or institutional token issuance, end to end. $200K to $300K base plus equity depending on experience and location.
Lead Product Manager: works with our partners and customers to ensure the launch product suite is fit for purpose and aligns participant experience across onboarding, trading, collateral and reporting. You must have shipped products in a regulated financial venue, exchange, clearing house or institutional crypto platform, you write the spec yourself, and you have run product through a regulator's questions. $150K to $240K base plus equity.
We hire on written replies and quality of CVs. We read every reply ourselves, so please write yours yourself. Send a short note on what you have built that is closest to the seat, with references, to careers@neo.co and put the role in the subject line. Please mention you came from HN.
At Shepherd, we're pursuing the most ambitious technical vision in commercial insurance: fully autonomous underwriting. Shepherd is an AI-native commercial insurance platform transforming how high-hazard industries get covered.
The infrastructure behind the AI boom (data centers, semiconductor fabs, renewable energy assets) has to be built and insured, but traditional carriers weren't built for this speed. We built Shepherd to solve that.
We announced our $42M Series B earlier this year! That brings our total funding to over $60M — led by Intact Private Capital, the investment arm of one of the largest insurers in the world. Intact is not only our lead investor but also a carrier partner, a testament to the confidence the incumbent industry has in what we're building.
We’re looking for product-minded, high ownership engineers to join our team! The Engineering team is HQ’d in SF, but we’re growing in NYC now too!
We’re hiring for 2 Senior SWEs, 1 MLE and 1 AI PM in SF, and 2 Staff SWEs in NYC. Engineers own projects end-to-end so full stack ability is expected.
Check out our open roles here: https://shepherdinsurance.com/careers Our stack includes: Typescript, React, Next.js, GraphQL w/ Apollo, Node.js, Postgres & Redis – If you have experience building AI agents or multi-step reasoning systems, we’d love to hear from you.

We build and run our own brands (race finders, training tools, AI guides, sports media) with a small remote team and a lot of AI agents.
Most of our brands have an identity that is good enough. We want someone with a sharp eye to make them good: logo refinements, lockups, favicons, social and OG images, colour and type rules. It's polish and judgment, not starting from scratch. Our agents do the digging, so you spend your time designing.
Please include identity work that is live somewhere. There's a short assessment, read by a person. https://wetheflywheel.com/en/careers/brand-product-designer/...
CoVar is a small R&D company specializing in AI/ML and software development for defense and healthcare. Bootstrapped and profitable. We're looking for a jack-of-all-trades who can: prototype computer vision algorithms, build Python web services, wrangle large sets of data from disparate classes of sensors, ... any or all, with the only hard requirement being eagerness to learn.
Visit covar.com for more information on our current openings!
We're a small, bootstrapped, profitable AI consulting firm. We embed with small and mid-size businesses (wealth management, real estate, construction, higher ed, nonprofits), learn how the work actually gets done, build what makes sense (mostly Claude: skills, agents, connectors, MCP) and train every person until they don't need us. We went from 1 client in February to about 20.
You'd own client relationships end to end: discovery, the build, the training. Strong builders who can also explain things to a 60-year-old business owner do very well here.

Hi, Alex and Jeremy here from UMH.
8 years ago, Jeremy was absolutely frustrated with the status quo of data infrastructure in manufacturing. Companies paid millions per year for "shitty 90s software" and are still doing that today, when there is much better software out there for open-source. So we decided that we can do this better, first founded a System Integrator, realized most of the tasks in setting up and maintaining a data infrastructure can be standardized, and decided to found the currently VC-backed UMH, which is built on open source software and is open source itself.
What we're actually building: We build and scale a real-time data platform that runs hundreds of Benthos pipelines inside a single Docker container (UMH Core), processing millions of industrial messages that control actual production processes.
Plus a local-first user interface (Management Console) where both non-technical factory workers and power-users/developers can work together. And yes, we care about UI in enterprise/industrial software.

We build AI agents that run revenue for short-term rental and hotel operators on Booking.com and Airbnb: live prices, promotions and visibility on real portfolios, plus an MCP connector so customers work their accounts from Claude and ChatGPT.
Our engineers no longer type most of the code. Claude Code and Codex do. The hard part is knowing what to build, how it should fit together, and whether what the agent wrote is actually right. You will talk to customers, own the architecture, write the briefs, and catch what the agent missed.
We do not care which language you know.
We care that you can do architecture (single source of truth, clear boundaries, the right layer for a fix) and that you already ship this way.
Big bonus if you have worked on hotels, short-term rentals or dynamic pricing.
Small team, paying customers, hard problems (private OTA APIs, PMS integrations, pricing decisions that move real money). Three interview stages, no take-home. Email me (CTO) directly: martin@mydatavalue.com

Paramark helps Marketing teams optimize spend across all of their channels and programs. There are proven scientific ways to do this, but they are poorly understood and practiced by only a tiny fraction of teams. Our product ingests data from all of our customers' marketing channels and uses it to train open-source ML models for both measurement and experimentation. This makes it possible for any marketer to use these methods.
In this domain, it's hard to figure out what to build, and it's even harder to be both accurate and simple. You'll be joining a small team -- we have four product engineers. That means owning systems end to end and having real influence over what gets built. Your typical project will start with a high level goal, and you will figure out the rest.
Founded 2023, ~16 people, $8M from Greylock, cash-flow positive. Reasonable working hours: when the Mercury News covered the return of 996 culture, we were the counterexample. Looking for 8+ years, full-stack. Some exposure to statistics, experimentation, or A/B testing helps.
Stack: TypeScript, React, Python, Postgres. Google Cloud, Kubernetes, FastAPI, taskiq.

We're preparing a U.S. Department of Education SBIR Phase IA proposal to build an assessment reasoning platform for school speech-language pathologists. It implements TTL-MSM, a fully specified decision framework for one of the hardest calls in school eligibility evaluations: whether a student's communication profile reflects a disorder or a difference. Clinicians code each source of evidence, and a fixed rule combines them. The rules are written; the software isn't. The research lead is at Baylor University.
Prototype Developer ($70–95/hr): build a browser-based web app from a written spec, with privacy designed in from the start so it's ready for FERPA-protected student data later. About 15–20 hrs/week for nine months if funded.
Technical Product Lead ($75–100/hr): the bridge between the clinical spec and the engineering. Scope the prototype, turn the spec into requirements, and keep the build on schedule. About 5–8 hrs/week for nine months if funded.
Pre-award scoping (10–15 hrs for the developer, 5–10 for the lead) is unpaid, and funded work is contingent on award. U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

I run the US West Specialist Field Engineering team at CoreWeave. We work hand in hand with the labs pushing the boundaries of AI, on some of the largest GPU Kubernetes clusters in the world. Specialist Field Engineers own the technical side of the customer relationship: architecture, proofs of concept, and the hard debugging nobody else can do. What you learn in the field feeds straight back into the product.
Must live near one of the cities above. This is a hybrid role, and we do not offer relocation.
Must have deep experience in these areas. It's in the title. The work we do goes exceptionally deep, and we need people who are already experts in one of these areas.
* Kubernetes [ https://grnh.se/7j1kydde6us ] You've written a production k8s operator, in go or rust. Bonus: GPU scheduling (device plugins, topology, MIG, RDMA), control plane scaling at thousands of nodes, Slurm, CNCF contributions.
* Security [ https://grnh.se/jxbek1o66us ] You've secured large-scale infrastructure and can trace an identity or isolation problem from the IdP, through the kernel and network, into Kubernetes. Bonus: threat modeling against SOC 2/FedRAMP, confidential computing and attestation, Falco/Tetragon, DPU/GPU/secure boot.
* Storage [ https://grnh.se/137kuvyv6us ] You've built or run a parallel filesystem (VAST, WEKA, Lustre) at scale, and can explain in detail how S3 works under the hood. Bonus: NFS-over-TCP debugging at scale, checkpointing for AI training, CSI drivers, kernel NFS/Lustre/Ceph contributions.

Our group at Cambridge works on Earth Observation foundation models (Tessera: v1 https://arxiv.org/abs/2506.20380, v2 https://arxiv.org/abs/2607.03949, https://geotessera.org/) and we've started a collaboration with Manchester to understand how they can be used to improve pollution models and then environmental decision making in general. This involves training new models and doing high-resolution inference across national or even global scales, as well as figuring out how to use that data to help policymakers make better decisions.
As part of this work we have a PhD studentship through the joint Manchester-Cambridge Centre for Doctoral Training for AI in Decision Making for Complex Systems. This involves one year at Manchester doing taught postgraduate study and then three years at Cambridge for the PhD.
Our work is all open source and involves solving significant compute and data challenges. Training our current-generation model takes ~250k GPU hours and a single year of global inference needs to move over 5.5 petabytes of data through the inference pipeline. This project would suit someone with strong machine learning and software engineering experience. We can help you build the atmospheric science and Earth Observation skills.
We are a highly collaborative group who spend our time not only on foundational research but also on developing applications with practitioners and decision makers. Our work sees use in many industrial, academic and government environments for problems like crop classification, tree species mapping and change detection.
You can find out more here: https://www.findaphd.com/phds/project/from-satellite-to-stre... - if you have questions about the project you can contact me, Sadiq Jaffer, at sj514@cam.ac.uk . For questions about the application process you'll want aidecisionscdt@manchester.ac.uk .
Application deadline is Friday 4th of December with a course start date of September 2027.

Our optional take-home is a broken Ubuntu server: a service that won't stay up, a nightly report that hasn't gone out in days, and a disk that keeps filling. Fix it, write a script that heals a fresh box, and build a small read-only MCP tool so an AI agent can check on it. 60 to 90 minutes, unpaid, no LeetCode. If that sounds like fun, read on.
We're a small and growing AI and Microsoft 365 consultancy in Franklin, TN. We build AI agents and automation for small and mid-sized businesses, and harden and run the systems underneath: Microsoft 365 tenants, SharePoint, and Linux boxes. We're AI-agnostic and use what fits the client, mostly Claude Code, the Microsoft 365 stack with Copilot and Copilot Studio, Gemini and Gemini Studio, and Oracle OBI. The role is about 60% agent development (MCP servers, Claude Code, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Gemini) and 40% Ubuntu administration (systemd, Docker, patching, backups, monitoring). PeopleSoft experience is a plus. You'll work directly with clients, so explaining things clearly to a small-business owner matters as much as the code. Early-career and career-switchers welcome.
We expect you to use AI every day. What we hire for is knowing when it's wrong, so one of our three application questions asks about a time it fooled you.
To apply, email your resume to hiring@stratirus.com with short answers to: a time a client or boss made an unreasonable demand and how you handled it; a time an AI confidently gave you a wrong answer you followed, and how you caught it; and something you've built with AI that you still use. Work samples get strong preference. We read every application ourselves and reply to everyone, so please write your answers yourself.
Process: email application, a 45-minute video call where you walk us through something you've built, then a conversation about the role.
Remote within the US only, Central Time business hours. Must be legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future. No recruiters or agencies, please.
